Clam Jam #14: Hey BP, Cover This!

So there's this band, Hungry Kids of Hungary. I'm pretty sure they're Australian and have an album coming out either right now or, like, soonish. What I'm trying to say is I'm not really all about the research right now. I am all about telling you that these guys have some pretty decent (if not a little girly) songs up their sleeves, and a definite Squeeze vibe that's worth getting into.

More important than all of that though, is this one song called Eat Your Heart Out. It would be awesome if Banana Phonetic could blow this thing out in a cover. I couldn't find a video of it, surprise, surprise, but hopefully this works: listen.

... ok, so that doesn't work? and neither does embedding? I don't know what Grooveshark's deal is, but I'm getting a little up in arms here.

Just for the sake of posting something, this song is pretty decent too:

Shit, that's not a video either. Get it together, Erika. GOD.

Whatever. Boys of BP, go look up Eat Your Heart Out. Or don't. I don't know what I'm doing here anymore.

Clam Jam #1

Alirght, so the video for B.I.G. E.G.O by Wise Blood is, well, not a video. But this song is so effing phenomenal today, I don't even care. It's officially the first installment of the weekly Clam Jam.

Check it:

All I have is sweet sweet visions dancing in my head of us making a slow-motion video, where everyone is wearing hoodies and making snarly mouths with cigarettes hanging out of them and smashing fruit, or maybe turning over tables covered in confetti and glassware. And obviously throwing up hood signs.

If anyone is interested, I am the opposite of kidding, so let's hook it up.

Irena Clam Eaves.

Hi.

I made a blog!  Let's make it better!  Along with the blog, there's a gmail -- thedailyclam@gmail.com.  I tried to make the blog itself thedailyclam.blogspot.com, but believe it or not that was already taken.  (we should probably look into it)  So, dailyclam.blogspot.com it is.  Let's start making this thing look phenomenal, and also let's incorporate the tagline "Pearls of Webdom, Delivered Fresh," or something along those lines.

Also, let's have a meeting soon.  A skype-y one.  And a glittery one.

Ok, bye.
